The 236 year old Képző és Iparművészeti Szakközépiskola és Kollégium has been training photographers for one hundred year, and celebrates its 100th anniversary. The faculty was founded by Pécsi József, one of the characteristic photoartists of the 21st century. Following his tradition, photography is taught to our students not only as a skill of producing photographs but also an independent and continuously renewable art form of self expression. The pictures of the centenary exhibition reflects our school’s spirit and reveals 100 incredibly amazing visual imprints of the last one hundred year. Among the exhibitors one can find well known photoartists of the past and distinguishing personalities of the present.Projects from our archive images are held in the opening ceremony and during the exhibition.
