Attila Vécsy’s exhibited works showcase the beauty of errors in telecommunications. They demonstrate a certain satellite-dish aesthetic. Sometimes the jumbled signals on your TV screen dazzle your eyes and your brain with astonishing beauty. They are unrepeatable “visions.” “Scientific” photos about human creativity, mathematics, physics and satellite telecommunication, which peek into the future. The viewer has their job cut out for them when trying to piece together and interpret these colourful pixel abstractions. In many of the pictures there are easy-to-perceive details that help the viewer in their inner visual work as they observe the alternation of colours and shapes. While you do so, you have time to consider the surrounding, slightly incomprehensible digital, virtual world, the indispensable omnipotence of your gadgets. Is it a new reality, is it true or false, is it art? Move on and enjoy the images.
