The conference on Hungarian-Romanian photographic relations between the two world wars seeks to present the changes that occurred in photography in the wake of the First World War.

Those working in photography had to adapt to the new political, economic and cultural circumstance, and needed to develop new strategies.

The Hungarian and Romanian speakers of the conference will examine how this change came about, as well as is consequences, looking at historical periods or individual life stories.

The conference is dedicated to the memory of Dr Béla Albertini, who passed away in 2020.
