Radek Brousil (1980) is a Prague-based artist, who formerly experimented with the spatial extension of photography, while his new work employs photography alongside video, and textile or ceramic-based installations. He makes his debut in Hungary with a new video work and a related series of photographs, made specifically for his exhibition at Glassyard Gallery. With unusual sensitivity, powerful musical motifs, and dreamy images, this work gives voice to a generation’s hard to define attitude to life, which marks, more and more impressively, our daily life as we drift towards an unavoidable climate disaster.
