Foton Gallery makes its debut at Art Market Budapest with a selection of renowned and up-and-coming artists, members of the Association of Hungarian Photographers and the Studio of Young Photographers.
In addition to representing the photographic interests and ideas of two generations, the exhibits also highlight the points where the different trends of contemporary photography intersect. The installation was inspired by the question of how humans relate to the environment. These visual observations look at different aspects of the fluctuating character of our natural, constructed, personal and social surroundings.
Through the medium of photography, a language both representative and abstractive, the works convey an atmosphere that is upsetting, yet full of harmonic sensations, which we hope will bring the viewer closer to the relevant themes of today’s art.
